Chi-Chi is the wife of Son Gokou, daughter of Ox King (Gyuu Maou). Chi-Chi comes into the story after Gokou have met Yamcha, Bulma, Puaru and Oolong. When we first meet Chi-Chi, she is getting chased by a dinosaur. Gokou first meet her when he has to pick her up and bring her to her father, Ox King. At the time Ox King already has proposed to let her daughter to marry to Gokou. Gokou is a little confused about marriage and turns to Chi-Chi and promises her that he will marry her. She is later appeared and she isn't really taking much of a role in the story until she meets Gokou again. Gokou doesn't seem to recognise her in the beginning then Chi-Chi reminds him, also about the promise about they getting married. Then they are really married. They also have two children, Gohan and Goten. Chi-Chi is also well trained by her father, hence she knows martial arts and fighting technques. However, she doesn't fight. She is more focused on raising up her two kids, Gohan and Goten. She is extremely strict on Gohan when Gohan was in his teens, she doesn't want Gohan to go out and fight with his father Gokou, but to stay home and study all day long. However, even though she doesn't fight, she is a loving and caring mother.
